Step-by-Step Application Guide

Procedure and processing times

The procedure is mainly electronic, and thus allows a simplified and personalized tracking of applications’ processing.

You will need an email address and Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the application documents. This software is freely available on the Adobe Website.

Three short steps allow you to receive and fill out the necessary documents for your application, before mailing your application kit to the Embassy of Canada in Paris, France where your inquiry will be processed.

  1. Click on the link following the description of the program you are interested in, provide and confirm your email address.
  2. Follow the link you received in your confirmation email to personalize your application kit. You will be asked to provide your name, last name, date of birth, postal code and country.
  3. Download your application documents in PDF format after following the link you received in a second email.

You can now fill out the documents on your computer, print them, and send your application and required documents by mail.

Pay the participation fees after receiving EIC’s mail.

This system allows you to be automatically informed by email during every step of your application’s processing.

Processing times depend on the current number of applications received by the Embassy of Canada in Paris and can thus change depending on the time of the year. More information about current processing times.
