Proof of Canadian Citizenship: Applying through the Consulate
You may submit the various citizenship applications to the Canadian Consulate General in Boston either in person or by mail. Once a completed application is received from you, we will forward it for you to the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
To submit the application in person:
Please set up an appointment with a Consular Officer in this regard. This can be done by calling 617-247-5100 extension 3000 to speak with the receptionist or by e-mailing bostncs@international.gc.ca. We can only accept walk-ins on a very limited basis - it is best to set up an appointment.
To submit the application by mail:
