Citizens of Chile require a visa to travel to Canada. This visa requirement applies to everyone who wants to transit, visit, do business, study, or work on a temporary basis.
The Canadian Embassy in Chile has made arrangements to open a Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Santiago. The VAC is aimed at making the Canadian visa process more convenient for applicants in Chile. All temporary resident applicants (visitors, students and temporary workers) are encouraged to use the VAC services.

Note: The VACs are only responsible for receiving and reviewing applications for completeness. All visa applications are assessed by visa officers at the Canadian Embassy in Chile.
If you are residing or travelling outside Chile, you may apply at the Canadian visa office serving the country or region where you live or which you are visiting.

All applicants in these classes must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application, please refer to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.
Due to a temporary moratorium on accepting new applications in the federal entrepreneur program, the visa office will not accept any entrepreneur applications that arrive at the visa office on or after July 1, 2011. These applications will be returned to the applicant.
