Welcome to the Visa Section of the Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai.
For information about going to Canada and to find out how to make an application at this office, please refer to our list of services below.
We provide these services to persons in China. If you wish to apply for permanent residence in Canada, you can submit your application to the Visa Section at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing.
The Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai has made arrangements with VFS Global to provide convenient visa application services by way of a Visa Application Centre (VAC). Applicants are strongly encouraged to read about the Visa Application Centre before submitting their applications.
