The payments in Colombian pesos for consideration of the applications are to be made only at the Banco de Occidente at any branch nationwide account number 291-00593-2, Canadian Embassy. Payments are not received at Grupo Aval offices.

Fees in Canadian dollars and in colombian pesos are effective as of 1 MARCH 2009. Please remember that exact amounts are listed here below. If you payless than the listed fee, your applicationwill notbe processed; if you paymore than the listed fee,processing of your visa application willbe delayed.

This fee has to be paid by the principal applicant and their spouses or common law partners (with a few exceptions). It must be paid before the visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

Additional information:

  • Family class fees have to be paid in Canada. For more information please visit www.cic.gc.ca
  • Please use the form "RECAUDO EN LINEA". An additional amount of 3,000 pesos will be charged to the applicant as a bank service fee, to be paid separately in a form that will be providede by the bank.
  • The client shall ensure that the payment was machine-stamped at the bank and not stamped by hand, as the latter is not valid.
  • The bank will keep the original receipt and a copy will be given to the client. Please attach the receipt to the visa application form. We recommend that applicants make a copy of the payment slip in case of a future verification.
  • Cheques in Canadian dollars will be received only if they are from a recognized Canadian bank and made out to the RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA.
