The 5th Annual Canadian Education Fair in Egypt
The Canadian Embassy in Egypt is organizing EDU-Canada 2009,the 5th Annual Canadian Education Fair that will be held at the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel in Cairo (Oct. 6-7). More thantwenty Canadian educational institutions will be present to showcase the best in Canadian education opportunities for Egyptians.
The Fair will be inaugurated on Tuesday, October 6 at 3:00 pm.
It will be open to the public from 3 pm to 8 pm on October 6 and from 11am to 8 pm on October 7. In addition to the fair, selected school visits will be arranged for October 4 & 5 in Cairo and October 8in Alexandria.
This year, EDU-Canada is held underthe mainsponsorshipofthe Canadian International College (CIC) in Egypt. The goals of the eventare to expose Egyptian students interested in studyingCanadian curricula in Canada or here in Egypt to Canadian educational possibilities and to assist Canadian and Egyptian institutions to establish partnerships and joint programs. Last year’s fair drew over ten thousand participants on the strength of Canada’s proven track record for providing world class education at a reasonable cost to foreign students.
EDU-Canadafair is an exciting forum for innovation where many educational partnershipswill belaunched between Canadian and Egyptian academic institutions.
