How to submit an application
You may submit applications by mail or by courier which avoids the inconvenience of waiting in line outside the Embassy.
How to submit different types of applications

Our office details
Temporary residents visitors:
- by courier or in the Embassy's drop off box if paying fees by certified cheque in Canadian dollars, or
in person if paying fees in cash (Egyptian pounds)
Temporary resident students and temporary workers:
- by courier or in the Embassy's drop off box: payment is either by certified cheque in Canadian dollars or through direct deposit at CITIBANK .
Permanent Resident Travel documents:
- by courier or in the Embassy's drop off box if paying fees by certified cheque in Canadian dollars, or
in person if paying fees in cash (Egyptian pounds)
Family class applications:
All applications to sponsor a family class member must be submitted to the Case Processing Centre in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application and the forms of payment, refer to Sponsoring Your Family.
Economic Class:
- Federal skilled workers
- Provincial nominees (Once nominated by a province)
- Quebec skilled workers (Once selected by Quebec)
- Federal investors
All applicants in these classes must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application, please refer to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.
Federal entrepreneurs
Due to a temporary moratorium on accepting new applications in the federal entrepreneur program, the visa office will not accept any entrepreneur applications that arrive at the visa office on or after July 1, 2011. These applications will be returned to the applicant.
Federal self employed
Quebec selected business people
All applicants in these classes must submit complete applications to this visa office.
Service Hours
For visitor, student, temporary worker and permanent resident travel document applicants: Sunday to Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 am.
For refugee applicants: Tuesday, 14:00 – 15:30
Excluding holiday closures (may differ from local holidays)
