All non-resident Canadian nationals, including retirees, receiving income from Canadian sources have to make a Canadian tax return. The forms are available online and can be downloaded (see below).

For more information on income tax and to find out about your residency status, or to download the forms and brochures, we recommend that you consult:

  • Canadians Temporarily Outside Canada. This directory contains income tax guides, pamphlets, returns, schedules, and forms for Canadians who are temporarily travelling or living outside Canada.
  • Non-Residents and Deemed Residents of Canada. This directory contains income tax guides, pamphlets, returns, schedules, and forms for non-residents and deemed residents of Canada. It also contains goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) publications and forms.
