Immigrate to Canada

If you want to immigrate to Canada, there are a few different ways to apply. You will need to decide which immigration program will work best for you and your family.

It is also important to know about credential recognition. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) recommends that you review the resources on the Foreign Credentials Referral Office’s website to learn about the steps you need to take to get your credentials and qualifications assessed and recognized in Canada.

  • Skilled workers and professionals
    For people who meet certain education and work experience requirements and want to settle and work in Canada (outside of Quebec). This link will take you to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for program information.
     
  • Skilled trades
    For people who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade. This link will take you to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for program information. 
     
  • Business immigration
    For investors, entrepreneurs, and self-employed people who want to start a business in Canada (outside of Quebec).   • Provincial nominees

  • Quebec-selected skilled workers and business people
