How to submit an application

Citizens of Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama all require a visa to travel to Canada. This visa requirement applies to everyone who wants to visit, do business, study, or work on a temporary basis.

Temporary resident (visitor, student, temporary worker)

Family Class

All applications to sponsor a family class member must be submitted to the Case Processing Centre in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application and the forms of payment, refer to Sponsoring Your Family.

Economic Class 

All applicants in these classes must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application, please refer to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.

IMPORTANT: Please include a pre-paid airway bill with your application which will be used to safely return your passport(s) and final decision. We will not be able to return your documents unless a pre-paid airway bill is included.
