If you are applying from the Dominican Republic, please submit your application in person at the Canadian Embassy in Santo Domingo during the hours of services.

If you are applying from Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guyana, Saba, St. Eustatius or St. Maarten/St. Martin, please send your application by courier service to the Canadian Embassy in Port-au-Prince. Please ensure that you include all required forms and documents, payment, passport, and a pre-paid courier envelope to return your passport.

  • Application For A Temporary Resident Visa -One Per Family (Persons Aged 18 Years Old Or More Must Submit Their Own Application)
  • Additional Information Form
  • Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)
  • Police Service Sheet (If Applicable)
  • Military Service Sheet (If Applicable)
  • State/Government Service Sheet (If Applicable)
  • Also Include The Following Documents (Originals):
    • Valid Passport For At Least One Year
    • One Recent Photograph (Passport Size) For Each Person Included In The Application
    • Recent Bank Letter And Booklet
    • Recent Employment Letter Indicating, Among Others, Salary And Years Of Service
    • Invitation Letter From Canada As Well As Employment Letter From The Person Inviting You (If Applicable)
    • Other Documents May Be Required (For Example: Previous Passport, Evidence Of Enrollment In A Program Of Studies, Birth/Marriage Or Divorce Certificate, Authorization From The Parents Authorizing The Child To Travel And/Or Any Other Document)
  • Please Include A Photocopy Of All Your Documents As Well As A Copy Of The Biodata Page Of Your Passport.

  • Please Note That If You Apply For A Multiple Entry Visa, The Visa Officer Will Determine The Validity Of The Visa, Which Will Never Exceed The Validity Of The Passport. If Your Passport Expires In Less Than One Year, We Recommend That You Renew It Before Submitting Your Visa Application.
