How to apply –

In person –

Passport applications may be submitted in person at High Commission of Canada in New Delhi, and Consulate General of Canada in Mumbai and Chandigarh during designated hours.

By mail –

From October 1, 2012, all mail-in applications must be sent directly to the Consular Section, High Commission of Canada in New Delhi by speed post, registered mail or commercial courier.  Applications sent by mail should include Rs. 285.00 courier fee, per applicant for the delivery of the new passport.  Please note that the incomplete applications will be returned to the applicants using their courier fees.  We will deliver the new passport by Blue Dart courier to the address provided by you or to a Blue Dart (Hold-at-Location), if the delivery address is not serviceable.  We suggest that you visit the Blue Dart’s website to confirm if the Blue Dart service is available at your residence.  If the service is not available, your passport will be delivered to their “Hold-at-Location” office and upon receipt of a call from Blue Dart, you will have to make arrangements to collect your passport from there.
