The 2015 IEC season will not open before January 2015. Be assured that opening information will be posted on the IEC website as it becomes available. We ask that eligible participants from IEC countries and Canadian employers refrain from contacting the IEC team as it will not have any information available before it appears on the IEC website. Please continue to check the IEC website for updates and any details on the 2015 opening.
If you wish to explore other options for coming to Canada, please visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.
In 2014, the IEC initiative with Ireland will have three categories:
Irish citizens can participate in IEC once for up to 24 months in either the Working Holiday or Young Professionals category; and for those who are eligible, an additional one-time participation for up to 12 months in the International Coop (Internship) category. The combined duration of your participations cannot be more than 36 months. You can choose the order of your participations.
If you have a job offer in Canada, apply to the Young Professionals category!
To start your IEC application, consult the Application Step-by-Step Guide.
If a round closes before you had time to submit your IEC application through your Kompass account, you will be able to apply in the next round.
Please note that no third party organization/vendor can guarantee you a spot in the IEC initiative.
We hope to welcome you to Canada soon!
