As of 4 September 2012, the Visa Section will be open to the public:
We will accept ONLY Temporary Resident Visa applications (with barcodes) and Travel document (PRTD/) applications. Applications NOT VALIDATED or incomplete will be returned unprocessed to applicants.
Please note that as of 4 February 2013, there will be no more same day service for Temporary Resident applications. Responses will be sent by regular mail. Courier will be used only if the applicant has provided a prepaid preaddressed courier airwaybill at the time the application is submitted.
Study or Work Permit applications should be submitted ONLY by mail or courier. Albanian residents should submit their application either online or through the VAC.
General information will not be provided. If you need information on how to apply for a temporary resident visa (visitors/students/temporary workers)or on documents for returning residents, please consult the Embassy website: www.italy.gc.ca.
