Canadian Book Reading for Children

"The Dark"

March 28, 2015 is Earth Hour Day. Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement uniting people to protect the planet by turning off lights for one hour at the same time all over the world.

Is The Dark a scary story? A boy named Laszlo was afraid of the dark. The dark lived in his basement. Laszlo hoped the dark wouldn't come to his room. Then...

This is the story of how Laszlo stops being afraid of the dark. Let's put out the lights and listen to what the darkness is telling us.
