Method of Payment:

  • In person: Post Office Money Order (called tong-sang-hwan-jeung-seo 통상환증서 ) or credit card (VISA or MASTER)
  • By mail: Post Office Money Order (called tong-sang-hwan-jeung-seo 통상환증서 ) or credit card (VISA or MASTER)
  • Please note that CASH payment is not accepted

The payment by credit card is now accepted.

For mail-in applications, you must complete a Credit Card Authorization form if you will use a credit card to pay for passport services at a Government of Canada office abroad. This form authorizes the Government of Canada to charge your credit card for payment of services.

A service fee will be added to all credit card transactions at Government of Canada offices abroad (of $1.50 per $50 increment). This fee is charged by the payment service provider and is independent from the passport or travel document fee.

**Billing address of the credit card and the postal code are required.

Most Asian countries require that you have a passport valid for more than six months. It is therefore recommended that you renew your passport at least six months before it expires.

Processing time: 20 working days
