Consul General meets with Governors of Nevada and New Mexico
As part of efforts to strengthen Canada's relations with Southwestern states, Consul General David Fransen met this month with Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval and Governor of New Mexico Susana Martinez.
In Las Vegas May 11, 2012 to attend the first Nevada Consular Corps outreach event with the state of Nevada, Consul General Fransen met with Governor Brian Sandoval, and Steve Hill - Director of the Nevada Office of Economic Development, to discuss Canada-Nevada trade and opportunities to expand the relationship. In Washington D.C. May 15, 2012 for the New Mexico Amigos outreach visit to the Capitol, Consul General Fransen and Canadian Ambassador Gary Doer met with Governor Susana Martinez to discuss the Canada-New Mexico relationship and areas of possible partnership.
