Canada was well represented at the Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS26) in Los Angeles, California from May 7-9, 2012 with a delegation of over 25 organizations, including the national and Quebec provincial industry associations. In typical Hollywood fashion, EVS dramatically showcased new electric vehicle (EV) design concepts and technology innovations. EVS is one of the largest international electric vehicle conferences in the world, attracting thousands of attendees and over 200 exhibitors this year. The Consulate General collaborated with the Quebec Delegation in Los Angeles and organized several key activities for the Canadian delegation, including a networking reception, a briefing with CALSTART and Nissan, and a visit to Coda Automotive’s global headquarters in Los Angeles for a briefing and technology demonstration.
