Canada in the World
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is the principal vehicle of Canada's official development assistance around the world. In line with its institutional mandate, CIDA supports sustainable development in developing countries in order to reduce poverty and to contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous world.
There is also the International Development Research Centre, a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies.
Canada in Mexico
The Government of Canada has implemented a Fund for Local Initiatives to finance small development projects in Mexico.
