Once you have been accepted at a school in Canada, and if you are going for 6 months or less, you will need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa if your citizenship is from the list of the countries and territories whose citizens require visas in order to enter Canada.
If you are going to study for more than 6 months you need to apply for a study permit.
