Inland Technologies provides environmentally sustainable recycling services to Dulles International Airport and other airports in Virginia
Inland Technologies, pioneers in environmentally sustainable recycling services, and specializes in the management and processing of glycol effluent generated from airport de-icing operations. The Nova Scotia-based company’s treatment programs are innovative and provide a substantial environmental benefit.
Washington Reagan National and Dulles International Airports are just two of ten U.S. airports and military installations served by Inland Technologies. This Canadian investment in Virginia, combined with the established partnership between Inland and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, has created jobs in Virginia, improved airport stormwater quality, and set the industry standard for glycol collection at airports across the country.
Quebec-based H2O Innovation is a groundbreaking Canadian wastewater treatment company whose wholly-owned Virginia subsidiary, Wastewater Technology, Inc., has helped the company to install over 70 systems in the U.S. and abroad.
Wastewater Technology Inc. has developed a product that combines the compactness and flexibility of the activated sludge process with the stability and simplicity of the fixed film process.
Last year, the company’s North American revenues were over $27 million.
CBN Secure Technologies Inc. (CBN STI), the U.S. subsidiary of the Canadian Bank Note Co. (CBN), is producing the Commonwealth of Virginia’s new and secure driver’s licenses from a production facility in a historically underutilized business area in Danville.
CBN STI engaged significant participation from local small and minority businesses to design, build, and maintain the Danville facility, as well as to install, commission, and support equipment at DMV locations state-wide. CBN STI is currently expanding the business in Danville to increase the scope of manufacturing as well as include production for other states.
CBN plans to invest $1.1 million in CBN STI, expanding operations and adding 25 jobs.
