Fees for Consular Services
Fees apply to some consular services performed by the Consulate General of Canada (New York) and the Honorary Consul (Bermuda). Whether you are resident in Bermuda or the USA, fees are payable in US or Canadian dollars and can be made in cash or by money order, bank draft or certified cheque made payable to the Consulate General of Canada (New York).
Citizenship Services
Application for a Proof of Citizenship (new or replacement): CAD $75 or USD $75
Application for a Grant of Citizenship: CAD $200 or USD $200
Application for Retention: CAD $100 or USD $100
Application for Renunciation: CAD $100 or USD $100
Application for Resumption: CAD $100 or USD $100
Application for a Search of Records: CAD $75 or USD $75
Notarial Services
Signature on a Document: CAD $50 or USD $50
Certified True Copy of a Document (per page): CAD $20 or USD $20
Photocopies (per page): CAD $3 or USD $3
Passports (issued by Passport Canada)
Passports are issued by Passport Canada in Canada. Click here for fees and payment instructions.
Note: Fees for passports are payable directly to Passport Canada and must be paid in Canadian dollars.
