Elimination of 48-page passport 

In preparation for the global deployment of the Canadian ePassport and in accordance with Canada’s Passport and Other Travel Document Services Fees Regulations, Passport Canada will no longer issue different sizes of passport books.

  • As of May 27, 2013 we will no longer offer the 48 page passport service abroad.
  • A complete application received on or before May 26 at a mission abroad may be eligible for a 48-page passport.
  • As of July 1, 2013, all new passports will be 36 pages.

Methods of payment

For in-person applications, fees may be paid in cash*, Postal Money Order or in Manager’s Cheque payable to "Embassy of Canada" in Philippine pesos Canadian dollars).

*Fees paid in cash at the Consulate in Cebu may only be submitted in pesos.

For mail-in applications, fees should be paid by Postal Money Order or Manager’s Cheque payable to "Embassy of Canada" in Philippine pesos or Canadian dollars). Please do not send cash.

When paying cash in Philippine Pesos, the exact fee would be appreciated.  No change can be provided when paying in Canadian dollars.
