To help us provide you with the most efficient service, please ensure that you address your inquiries and requests for information to the correct section in the Embassy.  In particular, requests for information about immigration and visas should be directed to the Immigration Section of the Embassy.  Other sections cannot respond to requests for information about visas and immigration matters.

General Office Hours

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 08:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Passport Services, Citizenship Services and Consular Service Inquiries:
Monday to Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Security information: For security reasons, visitors should refrain from bringing items such as backpacks or luggage to the Embassy. All visitors will be searched prior to entry.  The following items are not allowed in the Embassy premises and visitors will be asked to leave them with security staff:

  • cellular telephones and other wireless communication devices;
  • cameras and other recording devices;
  • weapons of any kind, including batons, guns, knives, etc.

The Embassy reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone carrying large or suspicious packages, weapons, or any item which could potentially jeopardize the safety and security of our employees, clients and visitors.

After-Hours Emergency Contact. The Emergency Watch and Response Centre of the Department of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Development is available to provide assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Consulate of Canada in Cebu

The Consulate of Canada offers limited consular services.  Notary Services are provided to Canadian citizens on an appointment basis only.

To make an appointment, please send an email directly to the Consulate providing your name, contact details, service required and your availability to meet us.  You will then receive an email notification once the appointment is confirmed.

Note: The Consulate of Canada cannot respond to inquiries concerning Passport, Proof of Citizenship and Visa applications.  Applications for Canadian passports and proof of citizenship must be submitted directly to the Consular Section, Embassy of Canada in Manila.
