Temporary Resident Visa Application Forms
Please carefully read the Visiting Canada section of our website and the instruction guide provided below before you complete the application forms. The fee for processing your application is not refundable, so make sure you are eligible to get a Temporary Resident Visa before you apply. Please note that submitting a completed application and necessary supporting documents does not guarantee that you will receive a visa.

Residents of Japan
The Visa Section of the Embassy of Canada to the Philippines is responsible for processing visa applications for citizens and residents of Japan. Japanese citizens do not require a temporary resident visa to enter Canada as a visitor. If you are a citizen of another country, check the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website to see if you require a visa to enter Canada.

- For Visitors: Temporary Resident Visa Checklist
- For Temporary Workers: If you are a citizen of, and resident in Japan, you may be able to apply for your work permit online. Certain conditions apply. Please visit CIC to determine whether you are eligible. Eligible work permit applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an online application, as this will result in the most expeditious processing, and does not require submission of an application and fees directly to the Embassy of Canada in Manila. - For Temporary Workers who may not apply online: Worker Checklist
- For Students: If you are a citizen of, and resident in Japan, you may be able to apply for your study permit online. Certain conditions apply.
