I am honoured to represent Canada at this unique international organization, where all nations come together in efforts to make the world a better place.
The United Nations is the organization where the world meets and whose agenda encompasses all areas of human activity in every region of the world. It is also where all nations of the world can work collectively to confront common challenges and pursue shared objectives. Through consensus and diplomacy, the UN is the forum in which concerns about the problems faced by humankind are resolved. This is why the UN is vital to achieving Canada's international objectives.
