Canary Challenge
This September, the Stanford Cancer Institute’s Canary Foundation is sponsoring The Canary Challenge – a fully supported bike ride of which 100% of the donations benefit cancer research. Funds raised in 2012 Canary Challenge will be donated to the Stanford Cancer Institute to benefit cancer research and innovative supportive care programs. The challenge offers 50-kilometer, 75-kilometer, 100 kilometer, 100-mile rides — all with multiple food and water stops, mechanical and medical assistance, and plenty of SWAG. The rides cater to all levels of cycling strength — from children, to fixed gear bikes and tandems, to time trial champions, the Canary Challenge is a ride for the family! Canada’s Consul General, Cassie Doyle, will be one of the participants in this year’s ride! For more information, please visit www.canarychallenge.com
