Visas and Immigration
Welcome to the Visa Section of the Embassy of Canada in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For information about going to Canada and to find out how to make an application at this office, please refer to our list of services below.
We provide these services to residents, nationals, or persons legally admitted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
1) The immigration section of the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, does not receive telephone or in-person enquiries. Please note that the front gate staff and the general receptionist of the Embassy are unable to respond to specific immigration enquiries, nor are they able to connect you to the immigration section.
2) The immigration (visa) section will endeavour to respond to all eligible enquiries within 48 hours of receipt. To protect your privacy, enquiries on a current application must include the full name, date of birth, file number (if known), passport number, and be received from the email address that is listed on the original application.
Applications for Permanent Residence are not processed by the visa office in Riyadh. Instead, please contact these visa offices regarding:
- Business and Skilled Worker permanent resident applications - the visa office in London is responsible for processing these applications from residents and citizens of Saudi Arabia. - All other permanent resident applications - the visa office in Abu Dhabi is responsible for processing these applications from residents and citizens of Saudi Arabia. Please refer to the Abu Dhabi visa office website for information on Immigrating to Canada.
