Consulate General of Canada-Seattle Internship Program
The Consulate General of Canada in Seattle offers internships to qualified students enrolled in an accredited university, college or community college in our three-state territory of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The program provides interns with valuable work experience that also relates to their academic studies. Students from a variety of academic disciplines/majors may find the internship valuable including Political Science, International Relations, Communications, Economics, Environmental Studies and Geography. Internship positions are unpaid though interns are encouraged to seek course-credit through their academic institution.
Internships are for a minimum of 12 weeks and applicants must be willing to commit at least 20 hours a week to their internship.
Interns are placed in the Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Services (FPDS) Section. Applicants are encouraged to explore our website to learn more about the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle and the FPDS program.
