March 20 – April 17, 2014 – Children of War: Broken Childhood exhibition

The High Commission of Canada, the United Nations Information Centre and the Alliance Française of Pretoria invite you to an exhibition entitled Children of War: Broken Childhood. A collection of photographs of international war photographers, this exhibition aims to raise awareness of this violation of children’s rights and is a call to stop this unbearable phenomenon. Curated by Leora Kahn of Proof: Media for Social Justice.

Venue: Alliance Française of Pretoria, 99 Rivier Street, Sunnyside, Pretoria

TamiaApril 26 – 30, 2014 - Tamia’s Beautiful Surprise tour

Multi-Grammy-nominated Canadian singer and songwriter Tamia returns to South Africa to perform in a three-city tour. Concerts will take place in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Tamia, who will be visiting the country for the third time, will be armed with songs from her latest album Beautiful Surprise as well as some of her nostalgic earlier hits.

August 19 - September 21, 2014 – Cirque Éloize for the first time in South Africa
