May 27 to 31 – Freedom of Expression in Broad Strokes exhibition

LogoHigh Commission of Canada, University of Johannesburg: Department of Journalism, Film and Television and Constitution Hill invite you to the opening of Freedom of Expression in Broad Strokes, a travelling exhibition of award-winning editorial cartoons. The opening will include a discussion on Freedom of Expression: reconciling tolerance, respect & free speech in an increasingly diverse South Africa with Mr. Mondli Makhanya of City Press, Mr. Mpumelelo Mkhabela of the South African National Editors Forum (SANEF) and Mr. James Oatway of Sunday Times. Moderated by Dr. Ylva Rodny-Gumede.
