All local Government issued documents submitted to the Consular section to support citizenship applications, must be first submitted to and certified by the Ministry of External Affairs of Sri Lanka. This applies to Sri Lankan birth certificates, marriage certificates and translations of these certificates.
Please note that, effective May 07, 2012, the rate of exchange for a Canadian dollar will be Sri Lankan Rupees 125.00. Consular fees in Sri Lankan Rupees will be adjusted accordingly.
