Study and Exchange Opportunities in Canada and Sweden

The Nordic Association for Canadian Studies (NACS) was established in 1984. The Association supports Canadian Studies in the Nordic and Baltic countries, encourages Nordic and Baltic cooperation by promoting active cooperation with Canadian Studies organizations in other countries and assists to secure financial support for Nordic and Baltic scholars for studies related to Canada.

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical experience (IAESTE)

This information is for Swedish students seeking on-the-job training in Canada. Canadian students please visit IAESTE Canada.

IAESTE Sweden offers students a number of placements per year for practical training in Canada. The number of training placements depends on the number of placements that Sweden can offer Canadians. Please see IAESTE for further information on how to participate in the exchange program.

If you are a Swedish student and have found an employer that is offering you a period of practical training in Canada, IAESTE might be able to assist you with the Employment Authorisation. Please contact IAESTE Sweden for further information.

IAESTE is open to students attending courses at universities, institutes of technology and similar institutions of higher education.
