How to submit an application
You may submit applications in any category by mail or courier, which avoids the inconvenience of waiting in line outside the Embassy.
How to submit different types of applications:
- Temporary residents visa (visitors, students, temporary workers)
- Permanent resident travel document
- Family class applications
- Economic class
Our office details:
Temporary resident (visitor, student, temporary worker)
- by mail, or
- In person.
Permanent Resident Travel document
- by mail, or
- In person (only if residency requirements are met).
Family class: All applications to sponsor a family class member must be submitted to the Case Processing Centre in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application and the forms of payment, refer to Sponsoring Your Family.
All applicants in the economic classes must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Canada. For more information on how to submit your application, please refer to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website.
Hours of Operation
In-person:
Open to the public Monday to Thursday from 07:30 am to 10:00 am for visa application. Monday to Thursday from 01:30 pm to 3:45 pm to pick up visa and passport - closed to the public on Fridays.
Excluding holiday closures (may differ from local holidays).
