The Programme Participation Fee (PPF) will be refunded to individuals (applicants) who have been found to be ineligible or inadmissible (i.e. on criminal or medical grounds). Should the applicant choose to withdraw his or her application before it is processed, the Programmes Participation Fee will be refunded. However, once the applicant has been issued a letter of authorisation (LOI), refund of the PPF will not be approved. Also, the PPF is not transferable under any circumstances: from person to person or from year to year.
The maximum validity of a work permit issued under this program is 12 months.

Applicants must: be citizens of, and habitual residents in, the United Kingdom; be aged between 18 and 30 (inclusive); have sufficient funds for their maintenance during their initial period of stay in Canada; have a clean criminal record (You will be required to submit a police certificate for the UK); have no dependents; and pay the program participation fee of £90 (equivalent to $150 Canadian).
