Development Cooperation
The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is the principal vehicle of Canada's official development assistance around the world, committed to supporting sustainable development, reducing poverty and providing humanitarian assistance in order to promote a more secure, equitable and prosperous world.
Canada’s support for Zimbabwe is channelled through civil society, non-governmental, international, and multilateral organizations. CIDA’s Zimbabwe program is focused on the sectors of Democratic Governance (democracy, human rights, rule of law, and accountable public institutions), and Health (HIV/AIDS).
