The Visa Section of the High Commission of Canada to South Africa is responsible for processing visa applications for citizens and residents of Zimbabwe, Angola and Botswana.
Canada imposes visas on Botswana
Beginning at 6:01 a.m. local time [12:01a.m. EDT] on September 11, 2012, citizens of Botswana will require a visa to travel to Canada. You can apply at the visa office in Pretoria.

Citizens of Zimbabwe, Angola and Botswana require a visa to enter Canada as visitors. If you are a citizen of another country, check the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website to see if you require a visa to enter Canada.

The Embassy of Canada in Harare in coordination with the visa office of the Canadian High Commission in South Africa offers the following services for temporary resident (visitor) visa and study permit applications:

- Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Drop Box:
- Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
