Notarial Services

The consular office in Brussels and the Honorary Consulate in Luxembourg have authority to perform a variety of notarial services.

  • Produce a certified copy of an original document
  • Official certified copy of a Canadian passport (up to 3 copies)
  • Authenticate a signature on a document
  • Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage (“certificat de coutume”)
  • Attestation of citizenship
  • Witness a signature on a document, administer an oath or receive an affidavit for a document to be used in Canada.

Documents to present:

  • Original document(s)
  • Passport or other valid photo ID bearing your signature.
  • Fee in an accepted method of payment
