The Toronto quartet called So Long Sever (Neil Hendry –guitar, William Lamoureux – violin, Ravi Naimpally - tabla, and Tim Posgate- banjo) challenges the conventional ideas of the boundaries and parameters that music industry categories impose. The band consists of expert players fusing the inspirations of India, West Africa, Spain and Brazil to make dynamic and intriguing original music that draws on folk, chamber music and jazz.
