Assistance to Canadians

This service provides assistance to Canadians in France. If you have a question concerning visas or immigration to Canada, please contact that service directly. 

  • Canadian citizens in France: consular services for Canadian citizens in France are still provided. You may book an appointment online for passport, citizenship, notarial services. This service is for Canadian citizens only. Service in-person: PROTECTIVE MASK IS MANDATORY; only the applicant will be admitted (except for minor children); you will be admitted at your scheduled appointment time.

Opening hours :

Passport, citizenship and notarial services are offered by appointment only.

Only Canadians in distress will be able to access our consular services but they need to contact us, either by phone ( +33 (0)1 44 43 29 02) or email ( before coming to the Embassy.
We are closed on holidays.

Emergency help is available for Canadian citizens 24/7. You may speak with a Consular Agent at all times by calling the Consular Services at +33(0)1 44 43 29 02 and following the instructions or by calling the Operation Centre in Ottawa at 001 613 996-8885 (collect calls are accepted).

You may also obtain assistance from our Consulates in France.
