Embassy of Canada to Japan in Tokyo

 

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

We are limiting in-person visits. Consular services remain available to Canadians. If you need help, please contact us before visiting by phone at + 81 (0) 3 5412 6200 or by email at tokyo-consul@international.gc.ca or contact the Emergency Watch and Response Centre.

Send passport and citizenship applications by mail or courier to the Embassy of Canada to Japan, Consular section, 7-3-38 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo 107-8503.

Send urgent requests for notary appointments to tokyo-consul@international.gc.ca. Requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Our adjusted hours of operation are from 09:00 to 16:00.

Please note that our public facilities remain closed.

Closed: Saturday, Sunday and certain Canadian and Japanese Statutory Holidays

  • To meet with Embassy personnel, please make an appointment in advance and then present yourself at the Reception Window on the 4th floor Lobby.
  • No smoking is permitted inside the Embassy of Canada.
  • Please note that there are no parking spaces available.

N.B.:　Visitor access to the Embassy of Canada requires photo identification.
