  • Notary Services and Attestation of Documents
    Please note that due to limited resources at the Embassy of Canada to Riyadh, we are unable to provide notarial services except for the following ones
    1. Authenticate the original Canadian birth certificate, Canadian marriage certificate or Canadian diploma
    2. Letter of facilitation for police clearance
    3. Letter of facilitation for changing of nationality on Saudi Residency ID (Iqama)
    4. Letter of facilitation for transferring the Saudi visa information from the old to the new passport
    5. ‘No objection’ letter (in case of death)
  • The Embassy provides the above listed services on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 08:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Methods of payment

Online payment is the sole option for the four eligible passport services

Pay online

You can pay online for all your passport services and your citizenship services before submitting your application.

Other services can be paid by:

Credit : Credit card payments are processed through an online processing agent. Please complete the authorization form.
The form must reflect the exact charges for services requested and be completed in Canadian dollars. Failure to complete the form in full or authorize the correct fees may result in delays to your application.

Processing times

The processing time for a passport application submitted abroad is 20 business days. This 20-day period only starts once we have a complete and accurate application and does not include postal delivery time. Processing times may change depending on the volume of applications received and are not guaranteed. Complexity of routine verifications and security checks leads to longer processing times.
