The Old Age Security Pension is a monthly pension payable on the month following your 65th birthday. Eligibility is based on your period of residence in Canada.
If you lived in Canada for 20 or more years after your 18th birthday, then you can apply for your pension directly through International Operations at Service Canada. If you lived in Canada for less than 20 years after your 18th birthday, please file your application through the Spanish social security office.
