Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

In response to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the High Commission of Canada has put in place measures to protect the health and welfare of our workforce, partners and community. All High Commission events are cancelled or postponed until further notice. We will reassess this posture on a regular basis in accordance with guidance from Public Health authorities of the Governments of Canada and the United Kingdom. We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause.

Canadians in need of assistance should contact:

Please visit the Frequently asked questions page COVID-19: Advice to travelling Canadians wishing to return home.

For information on COVID-19, please visit the Government of Canada's official outbreak page and check our Travel Advice and Advisories. Make sure to register with the Registration of Canadians Abroad to get the latest updates at your destination.

Tours of Canada House for the public will take place on selected Friday afternoons.
Canada House on Trafalgar Square serves as a true showcase of our country in the 21st century and we are very keen to share it with our many friends and visitors here in the United Kingdom through upcoming public tours.

Please note that security arrangements for this diplomatic facility means that Canada House is not open to general visitors and all guests must register individually -in advance- to attend our public tours (spaces are limited). Please also note that we are unable to accommodate small children under the age of 6.

In addition, guests must present government issued photographic ID to enter the building, and all guests will be subject to airport-style security screening.

Large bags, rucksacks and suitcases will not be permitted entry to the building.

If you cannot attend a tour, the Canada Gallery is open to the public Monday-Saturday from 11:00 to 17:45 via the Pall Mall entrance. Admission is free. Please check the website for exhibition dates.

Canada House celebrates the very best of Canadian art and design

Please note, tours are booked through an external website that is English language only. Canadian High Commission information is included in both official languages.
